‘Cheyenne’ – Bald Eagle at the Hawk Conservancy Trust

This is Cheyenne, one of the awesome Bald Eagles at the Hawk Conservancy Trust near Andover. As anyone who’s visited the trust will know, the eagles fly in from a distant site to the flying grounds, appearing initially as a black spot on the horizon that keeps you hypnotized as you try to follow their progression, till they finally land in front of their admiring crowd; complete with an epic soundtrack, obviously. That’s proper falconry for you!
